Local plan
Obanliku
OBANLIKU'S BEAUTY SHOULD CREATE PROSPERITY.
Tourism. Agriculture. Jobs for our people.
THE ODEY-ARCHIBONG PLAN FOR OBANLIKU
WHERE NATURE BECOMES OPPORTUNITY WITHOUT LOSING ITS SOUL.
Ecotourism
Build tourism around mountains, wildlife and natural landscapes.
Local Tourism Enterprise
Ensure residents benefit as guides, artisans, farmers, transport operators, hospitality workers and entrepreneurs.
Agriculture
Connect local agriculture to the growing tourism economy.
Responsible Mineral Development
Gold and diamond potential must be approached through lawful, transparent and environmentally responsible exploration.
Youth Employment
Tourism and agriculture should become practical pathways into local employment.
OUR PROMISE
Obanliku should not merely be somewhere people travel to admire. It should be somewhere its own people can build prosperous lives.
