This page explains purpose, who it is for, and how contact data is handled. It does not invent a formal “programme catalogue” or chapter network that Brand has not published.
Purpose
Diaspora Connect exists so Cross Riverians living outside the state can:
- Register interest in volunteering or organising with the campaign
- Offer skills or media support aligned with official campaign asks
- Receive legitimate updates about manifesto release, events, and ways to help
- Find the official path to Donate
Who it is for (eligibility framing)
You are welcome to connect if you:
- Identify with Cross River and support a peaceful, lawful democratic campaign for 2027
- Want to volunteer time, skills, or community organising, not to invent unofficial “official” roles
- Understand that public representative titles appear only when announced on Meet Your Reps or News
There is no fee to register interest. The campaign will never ask you for passwords, seed phrases, or payments outside published Donate channels.
How to take part (interim)
Until a dedicated diaspora form ships, use Join the Movement and select the diaspora option (or note your location/country in the form). For general enquiries, use Contact.
Privacy and data use
We collect only what is needed to respond to your interest and run a lawful campaign. We do not sell your data. Details are in the Privacy notice.
Confirmation of what happens after you submit will follow the same standard as Join/Contact: you will know whether a person follows up and how your information is used.
What this page does not claim
- No invented country-chapter directories
- No fake statistics on diaspora size or remittances
- No unofficial fundraising appeals outside /donate
