Local plan
Akpabuyo
AKPABUYO MUST PROSPER WHERE ITS PEOPLE LIVE.
Better infrastructure. Stronger livelihoods. A Fresh Start.
THE ODEY-ARCHIBONG PLAN FOR AKPABUYO
WHERE LAND, WATER AND PEOPLE CREATE PROSPERITY.
Fisheries and Aquaculture
Develop the fishing economy beyond subsistence by supporting production, storage, processing and market access.
Agricultural Enterprise
Strengthen tree crops, livestock and food production while connecting farmers to markets.
Coastal and Rural Infrastructure
Roads, drainage, water and basic infrastructure should support communities rather than constrain them.
Local Enterprise
Small businesses should have access to skills, markets and productive infrastructure.
Responsible Resource Development
Quartz and other identified resources should be considered within a transparent, environmentally responsible economic development framework.
OUR PROMISE
Prosperity should not require an Akpabuyo child to leave home before opportunity becomes possible.
